In charge of the coordination and supervision of the education activities in the areas
• Provide guidance and support to the Education field coordinators for the organization of the education activities in the regions
• Develop a detailed work plan in collaboration with the Deputy Project Manager and the PM for the areas of intervention
• Identify and highlight field inputs and needs for the correct implementation of the project
• Identify, develop and follow up on partnership with local and international organization in order to achieve project results
• Check and approve the weekly plan of the local offices including annual leaves
• Ensure the quality of the education activities in the area providing guidance on NFE and RS framework and standards
• Organize regular meetings with the staff (Education field coordinators, center coordinators, assistants, teachers, volunteers) in order to ensure the correct implementation of the program according to the working plan.
• Organize ad hoc actions to answer to specific donor or MEHE requests (ALP rounds, Back to school campaign
• Participate in relevant working group on area level
• Participate in project staff training with other AVSI staff
• Perform other duties within areas of responsibility as requested by the supervisor.
